Neil’s Europe…

Discovering new friends and celebrating old friendships…

September 9, 2008 · 3 Comments

Monday 8 September,

Dad, the good Doctor and myself went to a meeting to “spread the love” about ARROW, ARCHER and ANDS.  We walked up to the offices of EDINA (it’s acronyms all the way) and started off a series of three meetings.

Remember when you were young and were seriously impressed by a kid who knew some trick that you considered seriously cool. So cool that you immediately wanted to become their best friend so they would share their trick or teach you how to do it yourself.  Well, that’s a bit like this meeting, – we wanted to show EDINA our cool tricks and we hoped they would share theirs, so in the end we’d both want to become new best friends.

I’m happy to report that’s how it ended up. The love was felt by everyone and we’re now the best of friends and want to keep on sharing our tricks.

Today I’m loving…
Catching up with terrific old friends Fiona and Nicky.

We talked, boy did we talk.  We caught up and re cemented our friendship.

I believe good friends ignore time away from each other and make it seem that the last time you were together was yesterday.

Many thanks for a fab evening guys. Hope it won’t be so long until the next time. (I’m loving the pyrotechnics!)

Hi Neil and Pauline, I understand the meaning of friendship at this moment, as never before.
How wonderful that you have been able to make this trip together, to make time seem like yesterday and distance a mere inconvenience.
aided by wine – hey! bliss.
Keep following the bliss. x Jan.
